Cakes come out raw in the middle. The oven beeps that it reached temperature, but the pan says otherwise. Or the door seal is loose and heat leaks out the front. At Mead's elevation, baking is already touchy, so a drifting thermostat makes it worse. We test elements, sensors, igniters, and seals. Then we tell you what it needs. Call us to book, or send us the quote form.

We cover Mead and the 80504, 80530, 80514, and 80520 areas, plus nearby Longmont, Berthoud, Johnstown, and Firestone.
Thinner air at altitude carries less heat, so preheats often feel slower here than at sea level. That said, a preheat that stretches far past normal usually points to a weakening element, a lazy igniter, or a sensor reading high.
Treat any gas smell seriously. Shut the supply valve if you can reach it safely, open windows, avoid switches and flames, and leave the house if the odor is strong. Contact your gas utility first, then call us.
Usually yes. Elements, igniters, sensors, thermostats, latches, hinges, and boards are all serviceable parts. We diagnose the actual failure rather than assuming the appliance is finished, then walk you through what makes sense for your unit.
Not always. Bake and broil run on separate elements or burners with separate wiring paths. One can fail while the other keeps working. A relay on the control board can also drop out for just one function.
At Mead's elevation, thin air already means less airflow per fan turn. Add a greasy baffle filter or a crushed duct elbow and the hood barely clears steam. We check the filter, blower wheel, and duct path, then clean or replace what is blocking it.
Phone us or fill the form. Describe the noise, the smell, the error code. Mention your altitude and whether the unit vents outside. Small details help us load the right parts on the van.
A technician checks the appliance in your kitchen or laundry room. We test airflow, heat, drainage, and electrical. Then we explain the fault in plain words and outline the repair options before touching a wrench.
Once you approve, we do the work. Before packing up, we run the appliance and verify it vents, drains, and cycles properly. We clean the area and tell you what to watch for next season.
Ask these of anyone you let into your home — us included. Call and we'll answer all five before you book anything.
Describe the fault, approve the written quote, get it fixed. Starting takes about a minute.
